Terms of use

Draft: this page is waiting for a final review and may change.
These terms apply when you use RemitHome.net.au, operated by Dominet BV, Panamalaan 7D, 1019 AS Amsterdam, the Netherlands(KvK 75389517). By using the site you accept them.
What the site is
RemitHome.net.au is an information site, not a remittance provider, bank or money transfer service. We publish general guides and reference exchange rates. We do not sell, quote, recommend for your situation or arrange any product, and no agreement between you and a provider is made through us.
Information only
This is general information only and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. It is not financial or tax advice. Consider whether it is appropriate for you and seek independent advice. Exchange rates are mid-market reference rates, not prices, and margin checker results are estimates based on the figures you enter and the assumptions shown on each page. Guides are checked at the dates shown. Products, rates, fees and rules change. Always check the current terms with the provider and the relevant authority before you decide. In Australia, businesses that send money overseas for customers must be registered with AUSTRAC under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006, and banks are regulated by APRA. We do not send money, so we are not registered as a remittance provider. We do not hold an Australian financial services licence and we do not give financial product advice. You can check a money transfer business on AUSTRAC's Remittance Sector Register before you use it.
Links to other sites
Some links lead to other websites, such as government sources (see our affiliate disclosure). We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of other sites. Any product you take out is with the provider, under its terms.
Liability
We take care to keep guides accurate but cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory consumer law.
Use of content
You may read, share links to and quote short parts of our guides with a link back. Copying whole pages or using automated tools to scrape the site needs our permission.
Law
Dutch law applies, without taking away protection you have under the law of the country where you live. We may change these terms; the review date at the top shows the current version.
